OGC was great to train at while I visited Orlando! I have about 7 years grappling experience (purple belt) and immediately learned new high-level technique and concepts in just one class. Very skilled training partners here and a beautiful facility. They even had a loaner gi and stocked showers to make the travel training easy. I visited OGC for open mat and honestly can’t say enough great things about the experience. Upon arrival I was greeted by coach Levi who gave me a tour of the club and its many amenities from saunas, to cold plunges and showers with towel service. The first thing to know is this isn’t your typical BJJ gym- this place is a vibe. It’s the kind of place people who love grappling and martial arts in general would want to hang out in even when they’re not training. The people there are great, and the atmosphere is laidback, friendly, and clean- like immaculate. The club operates on an elevated standard from the aesthetic all the way down to the mat time. Not exaggerating, but even the playlist seemed to contribute to the general good vibes. All of this said, I would highly recommend the OGC to anyone looking for an elevated BJJ training experience in Central Florida, and I myself look forward to visiting again. [Andre]
